This year's Miss Pancake Day Silent Auction item might be one of our favorites to date! Here's a sneak peek of the custom denim jackets designed by our 11 wonderful (and creative!) Miss Pancake Day contestants.

You can see the in-person at the Centerville Iowa Farmers Market on the Square tomorrow 9am-12pm and place your bids. Immediately following the Farmers Market we'll be posting a full color picture of each contestant with their jacket and online bidding will begin. You can then comment on the individual image of the contestant to bid and the high bid at 7pm on Sunday August 23rd will be the winner!

Thank you in advance for your support of our contestants and Pancake Day! Funds raised through the silent auction go directly to the Miss Pancake Day fund!

Here's another vendor feature for a new vendor joining us!

Meet Rhonda Cox of Yahweh's Apothecary (a DBA under Amazing by Grace LLC)!

Rhonda is a mother of four and grandma of three. Her family is her support team and helps her along the way. Rhonda enjoys connecting with people and meeting customers, while also appreciating quiet time to relax and recharge. She has always had a love for nature, herbs, and the outdoors, and enjoys spending time outside whenever she can. Her passion for natural ingredients is reflected in the products she creates.

Rhonda has been using only handcrafted soap for roughly 40 years but started making it herself in 2013 while living in Indianola, Iowa. She had people asking for other items, such as body butters, scrubs, lip balms, and more. The business grew to be her only source of income until she had to move to care for her mother. Now, she is working to rebuild and recreate her brand. Skincare has been her passion since the age of 13, and she believes that inspired her to start using this type of soap, since it was the only thing that would keep her skin clear and healthy looking. In 2009, she went to school, received her Esthetics Licence, and began helping others with their skin.

Rhonda has been running her business for 13 years, and this will be her first time at the Centerville Farmers' Market! Her favorite product to make is handcrafted soap.

She also wants people to know that she is transitioning her business to all herbal-related products.

It’s currently raining, but the forecast is looking like it will stop here in a bit! We will be pushing the start time of the market to allow for our vendors to have time to set up after the rain.

Vendors, please remember that we’ve moved to the North side of the square today due to the Fire Department Car Show. Set up will begin at 8:30am today.
