Our community showed up once again.

Thanks to the generosity of our shoppers, vendors and neighbors, the Centerville Farmers Market raised $304.48 in cash for local flood-relief efforts.

After discussing where the funds could have the most immediate local impact, we collectively decided to direct the donation to Cambridge City Christian Church through its website.

Because the market received the donations in cash, Market Manager Tom Peck used his personal debit card to complete the online donation. He personally covered the processing fee, bringing the total transaction to $311.48. A copy of the receipt will be included with this post for transparency.

We also received three bags filled with cleaning supplies and toiletries. Those items will be provided to another local organization assisting affected families, with the recipient to be announced once arrangements are finalized.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our posts or helped spread the word. Every contribution was an expression of neighbors caring for neighbors, and we are incredibly grateful.
