Well it's official! Lease signed and deposit received. Due to health issues I have leased the cutshop to previous employees.

As stated in a previous post, I believe it's a win/win for both my customers and me. The bottom line here is that the shop will continue to be open again this year. The shop will be open and serve all my previous customers with the same great quality and items as in the past.

Hopefully I can now try and do a little me time. I believe they will be keeping up this site going forward. Your contact number to arrange for a drop off time will change.

PSA... Currently I'm in negotiations with some of the deer shop employees to takeover running the shop. This is a very positive step going forward for both my customers and me. For me, due to health issues I have been contemplating having to close the shop. Closing was something that weighed heavily on me. For our loyal customers, closing has been a big concern also. Over the years they have been confident that not only did they get their deer back, but that what they got back was the highest possible quality. So in my opinion, these negotiations are a win/win for both me and our customers. I am fully confident that the negotiations will be complete in the next day or two. I will post again when it's completed so ALL our fantastic customers and friends can plan on continuing to have us do their processing again this year. Stay tuned!

PSA... get involved and stay informed! The NRCS is looking into completely changing deer hunting dates and durations.

This is your chance to get informed and inform the NRCS how you feel about these changes. I don't want to hear a bunch of crying and complaining from anybody that didn't get involved and put forth their opinions or suggestions.

Probably the last post, and everyone's last chance to get the remaining leftover smoke meat and fresh sausage. Here are the final amounts and types available:

SALAMI: 6 Regular, 3 Regular w/cheese, 11 Hot.

HUNT STIX: 28 Hot.

TRAIL BOLOGNA: 2 REGULAR.

Breakfast Sausage (bulk): 14 lbs. Hot

Italian Sausage (bulk): 8 lbs. sweet, 4 lbs. hot.

Italian Sausage (link): 18 lbs. sweet, 6 lbs. hot.

Brats: 11 lbs. Original, 2 lbs. Beer, 10 lbs. Jalapeno.

When it's gone it's gone! Our goal is to shut down our big freezer by Tuesday, 1/17/23. At which time ANY unclaimed processed deer will donated to our charities. Antlers and euros will become the property of the shop and used or sold at our discretion.

Thank you to everyone new and old for allowing us to be your choice of deer processing this season. SEE YOU IN THE FALL!

It's that time of year! The deer hunting in our area is finished! And we have called everyone to pick up their processed meat. I hope everyone had a successful deer hunting year! I for one, am sooo glad it's finished!!!

Having said all that... it's time to clear out any and all remaining smoke meat. I know a lot of you wait for this time to stock up on these delicious meats. Although our stock is lower than past years, there is amounts to be had. As in all years past, we will fill orders by day and time received. You can post here or better yet, call 2six9 42zero 35four6 to place your order. Walk-ins will also be okay if we're around. Available at this time is:

Salami - Regular, Regular w/cheese, Hot, and Hot w/cheese.

Hunt-stix - Regular, Regular w/cheese, Hot, and Hot w/cheese.

Trail Bologna - Regular (very limited supply).

Jerky - limited amount and only a maximum of 2 per order!
