🍎 Congratulations to Rachel and Jeremy Coventry on being recognized as the News-Gazette Farm Family of the Week!

Curtis Orchard began when Paul Curtis planted the first apple trees in 1977. Today, three generations of the family are involved in continuing that tradition.

Rachel and Jeremy help lead the orchard through farming, agritourism, beekeeping, customer experiences, and the daily work that keeps Curtis Orchard growing for future generations.

As we enter our 46th season, we're grateful for the support of our community. We also know we couldn't do this without Rachel and Jeremy, and the incredible staff who help make Curtis Orchard what it is every day.

Rachel is preparing special frames that encourage bees to build beautiful natural honeycomb. This is one of the first steps in producing comb honey right here at Curtis Orchard.

There's always something happening behind the scenes at Curtis Orchard!
This week, we're installing new fencing around the orchard grounds. From setting posts to measuring and lining everything up just right, it's one of many projects that help keep the orchard beautiful, safe, and welcoming for our guests.
We appreciate the hard work of our team as we continue improving the orchard one project at a time. ❤️

Rachel, Maggie, and Steve recently checked on the hives and prepared for the season ahead. With new hive boxes ready and colonies becoming more active, we're looking forward to another year of pollination, blossoms, and honey. 🌸🍎🍯
Honey bees play an important role in helping pollinate orchard blossoms each spring, and we're grateful for the bees—and beekeepers—that help make it all happen.
