Well...not good news. the corn maze has been a victim of bad timing on my part with no cooperation from Mother Nature, We planted later then planned due to wet weather. When we did plant -no till- the soil and field just stayed wet with the all the rain. We double/ criss-crossed seeded to have a thicker crop. Sadly, about 80 to 90% of the seed rotted in the soil. What did survive, is now only a few feet high. We will plow the field later this summer. to be ready for next year.

SO...there is NO corn maze for this year.

The display /tent/stand/vendor area and parking area is still being constructed and will shortly be done. We may still have some short notice weekend events...stay tuned!

Today - 7-20-15 Corn Maze is not looking good. Corn has come up...but a bit spotty right now. It needs sun and heat. NOT the rain we had last night! The field is in standing water. The maze is key to opening the Farm & Craft Market for this season. Will see how we are by end of the week...

We are however - as I type - proceeding with the site work for the Farm & Craft Market. The site is having the parking, building and display tent area being constructed now. Excavator, dozer and local gravel being placed and graded.

Grow corn! GROW corn !! CORN GROWWW!!!!

Our 8 acre corn field was planted late. - Wet weather/field - It was a new field to corn and was "no-till planted" It is now coming along. Anxious to see how the next few days of sunny weather and some heat will catch it up with other corn in the area. Still working on a design....
