Dog friendly (on leash) and very welcoming to visitors of all ages.
Chapin SC

💚 Why It’s Special

It supports local farmers, artisans, and makers — buying here helps keep dollars in the community while getting fresh, often seasonal goods.

It’s more than shopping — it’s a chance to connect with neighbors, listen to local musicians, learn something new (like a gardening or health demo), and enjoy the ambiance of downtown Chapin.

Offers an enjoyable alternative for weekend plans — a charming, relaxing way to spend a Saturday morning.

⚠️ Tips for Visiting

Arrive earlier for the best selection. Popular items go fast, especially produce.

Bring cash and reusable bags. Some vendors may not take cards, or may prefer cash for smaller purchases.

Dress for the weather — shade is limited, so hats/sunscreen are helpful in summer.

Parking is available at the Clark Street mural lot; expect some traffic because it rolls with neighboring downtown activity.

Thanks to a generous sponsorship by Texchine. Shred360 will be providing services for the Town of Chapin to host a free shred event for the public. Although the service is free we are asking participants to donate school supplies to help support Chapin We Care Center clients. The event will be held from 10:00- 12:00 and those interested in participating are asked to enter from East Boundary and turn on Beaufort Street. Remember Clark street will be blocked for the Chapin Downtown Farmers Market.

Look out for South Bend Winery at future markets but seems like you might need to check them out sooner if you want to get your hands on their cotton candy moscato. 🍷

We decided to try making Cotton Candy Moscato and so glad we did because half the inventory is already gone since yesterday! We’re working on making more but it’ll be about 4 months to let the moscato age….it’ll be worth it❤️❤️❤️
