It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the permanent closure of the Chapin Country Store. Unfortunately we could not survive the off season combination of mounting bills and rent. We miscalculated on the interest in the store and we have to make the unfortunate decision to close permanently. We want to thank all of you who supported us in this endeavor and apologize to our vendors and loyal customers. We truly did enjoy meeting those who supported us. Know that each of you who came in and shared conversation really did make this a very tough decision.

Let’s talk about grits. Our grits from Palmetto Farms are quite simply the best grits around. Period. There’s really no comparison.

We think we might have the best drink selection in town. Old school soda bottles. Nehi, RC, A&W, Sun Drop and our personal favorite…Blenheim ginger Ale made right here in South Carolina.

We’ll have our usual deliveries from Limitless Lila, Mary Kathryn Wilkes Liner and Little Mountain Mamas. And Chapin Bagels dropped off some more Kickin Chicken Salad.
