For Memorial Day weekend we have been serving a Red, White, & Blue Sangria featuring our Westford Hill Kirsch Eau-de-vie with sweetened white wine and fresh fruit topped with some seltzer. But with barbeques happening, another way to enjoy our Kirsch cherry brandy is in this Sweet & Spicy Cherry BBQ Sauce: .5 cup Tomato paste, .25 cup light brown sugar, .75 cup water, .5 cup Westford HIll Kirsch, .5 cup chopped dried cherries, 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar, 3 Tbsp. molasses, and a tsp. of onion powder. What a tasty and bright combination! This would be delicious on a pork tenderloin or chicken. Enjoy!
