I just want to address the question of where does your beef come from?

Johnnies has always carried American raised and processed beef, pork, and chicken. We obviously aren’t big enough to order direct from farms in the Midwest so we use several different distributors to get it all the way here. We do not research each box and see which farm it came from however when purchasing from a company it is very clear because it’s labeled American.

However for education purposes people have been purchasing imported meats for years way before the “mystery meat” from Argentina. Most cheaper beef products have been Mexican beef. When people try and compare my prices to either multimillion dollar companies or the cheaper imported beef throughout the years it gives a clear reason of why America imports beef for price control.

We do sale imported meats like Kangaroo, lamb, and other specialty meats. These meats are raised equally or even more naturally than American meats. Grain free, free roaming, etc.

We do have some West Virginia raised meats that offer the same high standard quality but our beef is from the Midwest and in my opinion better than the local options.

Johnnies Fresh Meat Market has always strived to bring our customers the best quality available and will continue to do so! Come taste the difference!
