General Stanton's "Flea by the Sea" Rhode Island's longest running Flea Market The General Stanton Inn’s famous Flea Market is officially coming BACK!

First established in 1965 and running for 56 consecutive seasons, the flea market was officially titled Rhode Island’s longest running and was said to set the “gold standard for outdoor flea markets in the region”. After the property was bought in February of 2022 by David and Jackie Moore, the historical General Stanton Inn (est. 1667) went through complete renovations. The market has been on a h

iatus since the property’s purchase but now after popular demand, 2024 will officially be the 57th season of the market, now named “General Stanton’s Flea by the Sea”. We welcome new and returning vendors bringing antiques, collectibles, crafts, and farmer’s market items! Flea by the Sea will be held on specific dates this 2024 season so be sure to keep a lookout on our page for updates. Dates and times are TBA

PLEASE NOTE: Flea by the Sea is not to be confused with The General’s Market, an artisan market hosted by Field of Artisans every Sunday throughout the summer.
