Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives while serving our country. It is also a weekend when families and friends gather together, share meals, and enjoy time in their communities.

As you prepare for cookouts, celebrations, and time with loved ones, there’s no better place to shop than your local farmers market. From fresh produce and local meats to baked goods, flowers, jams, crafts, and seasonal treats, you’ll find everything you need while supporting North Carolina farmers, makers, and small businesses. Peaches and blueberries are just coming into the mix and if you want to grill some veggies there are plenty of those in every building! Don't want to cook out? Get your tasty Smokey Brat Dog and some tasty treats like candied nuts to take home!

Shopping local helps keep farms thriving, strengthens local communities, and connects us to the people who grow and create the food and products we enjoy every day, and if you can't make it this weekend, we are here until 5 today!

Vendor Highlight: Meet Windy Hill Farm!
We’re excited to share that this longtime favorite at the farmers market will now be joining us both Saturday and Sunday. If you haven’t stopped by their booth yet, this is the perfect time to get to know the family behind the farm.
Windy Hill Farm is a small, family-owned and operated farm in New London, NC focused on raising animals the way nature intended. Their livestock is humanely raised without antibiotics or growth hormones, and they’re deeply committed to providing high-quality, wholesome food for local families.
When you shop with local farms like Windy Hill Farm, you’re doing more than buying groceries. You’re supporting North Carolina agriculture, helping small family farms thrive, and choosing food that is raised with care and transparency. Knowing where your food comes from matters.
Find them in Building A and the Got to Be NC Building this weekend, stock up on quality meats and farm products, and show some love to the farmers who work hard year-round to feed our communities.
