A letter to my girls,
We talk often about letting go—letting go of the negative energy that tries to find its way to you, letting go of the things that do not serve you.
But did you know that even I sometimes feel like what I create “isn’t good enough”?
This morning, an unlikely reminder came from something as simple as Almond Butter.
Almond Butter is my least favorite to make. Why? Because these nuts are tough. Really tough. They are almost impossible to grind into something smooth without adding extra oil to help them along. And today was no different—this batch nearly broke my grinder.
I was tempted to take the easy route, to “add oil,” to make it smoother, simpler. But I resisted. I stayed with the process, with the struggle, trusting that I could bring this batch to fruition all the way through the difficulty.
And it reminded me of this:
Sometimes we feel worn down or imperfect. Sometimes others’ words or energy try to seep in and shake our confidence. But we must never let negativity shape our inner voice.
Remember—
A diamond is not made beautiful without pressure.
Strength is not built without resistance.
Your shine comes from the work you do even when things feel heavy.
So keep going on your hard days.
The best will always find its way back to you.
Xo,
Mom ❤️

🗑disposal 🗑
Here they come, all my enemies, yeah they run, trying to get to me. But there’s someone who gives me peace and makes a way like you've never seen.
The past week and a half has been heavy.
Reflecting on recent events and people's reactions has left me shocked! I never imagined some could mock or laugh at such a heinous act to a fellow human being. But through it all, I've asked myself some tough questions.
As a result of reflection, I've removed toxic energy from my personal pages—hate has no place in my world.
Oh, I hear the chariots coming...
But they don't mean a thing.
Oh, the chariots keep coming......
but they don't mean a thing.
If you’re finding me here but not on my personal page anymore - you're toxic & you're hate has no place in my space anymore.
Watch me walk on Jordan now.
Xo,
Jenn

🐰548🐰
Lately, I’ve been thinking about you—and I keep hearing your words play in my mind like a record: “thank you for saying that” and “I know I’m not alone in this.” Those words carry weight.

When I look back 10.5 years ago, I remember questioning everything. Why did God choose me to live that life? Those 548 days were the hardest days of my life! I created a new life, thought seriously about ending my own, and somehow—by grace—I made it through.
The second time around, I was ready. Postpartum wasn’t going to sweep me out to sea again. I went in like a gladiator, armored and prepared for battle.
Over the years, I’ve shared my story with so many women. And then, for a while, I stopped. But those words—“thank you for saying that”—reminded me that maybe I haven’t said enough.
Did I just write my intro? Maybe I did.....
So here’s to a new season of fall. Here’s to being a girls’ girl. Life is hard, I know it—but together, we’ve got this.
Keep going!

🌺simplicity🌺
How beautiful is this flower?
For weeks, I paused at the Farmers Market just to admire her.

When I finally asked the vendor about her, I learned something surprising—she lives only one single day. She blooms in brilliance, then quietly fades, making way for the next blossom.

What a reminder: life, too, is fleeting in its moments. Some days weigh heavy, some pass unnoticed, and some shine so brightly we wish they would never end.

But just like this flower, no matter how yesterday looked, you have the power to rise, to open, to bloom again—radiant and new!
To whomever you were yesterday, with postpartum, just know you are LOVED, admired & beautiful. Keep going!! Your day is coming ❤️
