There is no other place to begin an impossible farewell than with my husband Joe Randazzo. My husband has remained the heartbeat and the inspiration to my sons and myself as we have kept his spirit alive after his tragic and untimely passing in 2017. My husband was a generational restaurant man through and through - having moved to the states from Italy and in 1971 opening his first restaurant in New York City. This was the first one of 26 more he would come to own and operate throughout his lifetime!
Joe Randazzo lived and breathed his creations and long accomplishments in this painstaking industry and gave everyone who cared to listen the tools not only to excel on our team but in oneβs journey through life as well.
When our family took over The Grid Iron 11 years ago, many of you were here then and have so thankfully stayed the entire time Joe was with us and thereafter until now. Joe and myself have cared for all of our guests and employees for all of these years and our departure from one another makes me sadder than I can ever explain.
We will be operating as normal until Monday, April 4 at 4:00pm where we will then offer a complimentary dinner buffet for our patrons. The bar will be open for drink purchases and we hope to see everyone there to say farewell.
My sons, my family and Joe and I thank you and love you for all you have done for us and wish you all the best life can offer as all of our journeys continue beyond The Grid Iron Restaurant.
Thank you from the depths of our grace!
