Here’s to hoping cooler weather is around the corner🤞🏻🍁 But even with this heat, we’ve reached the point in the growing season that brings winter squash into the mix! Thanks to all the hard work our farm vendors continue to put in, you’ll be able to get your hands on your favorite winter squash varieties like butternut, delicata, and acorn at market 💪👏 And for a little reminder 🚨 our fall/winter hours ~9am-1pm~ will begin on October 3rd, so mark your calendars now!

Happy National Farmers Market Week to all who celebrate, we definitely do! 🍅🧑‍🌾 This year is Farmers Market Coalition ‘s 26th annual NFMW, so we will have some special offerings— Elena from Pies & Produce will be preparing a nutritious salad with Purslane and other fun, warm weather greens🌱, Encanto 🦋homestead 🐓 & shootingstaracresva will be teaming up to make fresh pork and veggie kabobs🐖🫑, the Falls Of The James Group will be helping us highlight our green programs at the market♻️, and we will be preparing other fun recipes like a seasonally-inspired salsa to offer as free tastings🍅🌽 & market-inspired temporary tattoos for the kiddos (or any adults who want to partake!).
