Sunrise Dairy’s milk is small-batch pasteurized at 145 degrees, low heat instead of the fast high-heat most milk gets. But it skips homogenization, which is the step that breaks up the fat so it stays blended in. Skip that step and the cream does what cream naturally does: floats.

Ok so red flame cayenne pepper? Spicy fr, but it’s not even close to the top of the heat scale. There are peppers out there that can be 40+ times hotter than this one!

You can buy a tomato in any month. You can only buy a good one in a few of them, and right now is one of those months in Chattanooga.

Buying in season isn't just a nice idea. It's usually the cheapest, freshest version of whatever you're eating, because it didn't have to travel far or sit around waiting to be noticed. Right now, that's tomatoes, watermelon, corn, peaches, and a handful of other things hitting their peak.

Shop the season this Saturday, 9 am to noon, at Highland Park Commons.

Meet the spotted lanternfly. Beautiful wings, absolutely no business being here.

It's already confirmed in Hamilton County, and in states where it's taken hold, it's cost farmers hundreds of millions of dollars. If you see one, don't reach for the insecticide. Anything strong enough to kill it will also take out pollinators, fireflies, and other beneficial insects.

Instead: take a photo, note the location, and report it to the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. Or, you know, handle it the old-fashioned way.
