We have been pretty quiet today because while I thought I was ready for fall, you all were MORE ready 😅 So, I’ve been trying to keep up!

There is pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie out there, and I am finally getting to my artisan bread for the first time all week!!! It will be out of the oven around 4, then crumb buns around 4:30, and pecan cinnamon rolls around 5pm.

If you want something warm, plan your trip down here around these times! 🔥

Lets do this 💪 I find that the hardest part of making pumpkin pie is putting the uncooked pie into the oven without spilling it 😅

Remember when I said there would be something for fall lovers who are not fans of pumpkin? THIS is it!!!!! Apple pecan loaves. Less loaf more apple pecan 🤤 it's warm and ready now 😁😁😁

I get asked a lot about how I make my whipped cream, and my answer is always the same: the old-fashioned way!

First, I use my homemade vanilla extract, but more importantly, I don't use any aerosols or CO2 tanks of any kind. Just my KitchenAid (although any mixer will do!). We do our best to keep unnecessary chemicals out of our food, even when that means taking a little extra time.

Secondly, can we talk about my Banoffee struggles this week? 🤣

When I first got my bananas, they were completely green. So naturally, I thought I'd try a few different stores... every day. Somehow, I could not find yellow bananas anywhere! By day three, my original bananas had finally ripened enough to use. Great!

Except by then, I had run out of my small pie pans. No worries, though—I had some larger ones and figured I could pivot.

Then I think I may not have used quite enough butter in my crust, so it's a little on the crumbly side. 😂

Anyway, if you've been dreaming of a BIG Banoffee, today's your day! You may just need to eat it straight out of the pan with a fork 🤣

They're in there now... but there are only 6!

Is it just me or are s'mores for every season? I feel like every season change is an excuse for one. Anywho mini S'more pies are in the shack today. Its a chocolate pie underneath that pile of toasted marshmallows and marshmallow cream. Of course it's made with graham cracker crust.

I'm happy to say that the pumpkin cookies were a success!! I mean they are gone now, but there are more in the oven and will be out in 10 mins
