I may not know your mom personally, but I know she definitely wants farm-fresh florals for Mother’s Day. We will have bunches available through for pre-ordering starting this Tuesday for Mother’s Day.

Tulip season is now over at Homebody Farm 💔 We had so much fun seeing the varieties pop up in the field . This one was my favorite— Sun Lover. Unfortunately we had some loss of our parrot tulips due to the extreme heat fluctuation, but we salvaged a few for !! Looking forward to other flowers waking up soon, especially our large crop of overwintered campanula!!

It’s tulip mania here at the farm! We’ve had several days of too hot weather (80 degrees?!), as well as an overnight freeze watch in the past few weeks. We’ve lost some plants in the greenhouse because it was too hot, and some plants in the field because it was too cold. But most are doing just fine! All apart of the process to bring you beautiful 🌷 and 🥦

Humble brag for us: growing our first year of tulips. 🌷 We “just went for it,” in the fall and planted over 1,000 bulbs and crossed our fingers for blooms in the spring. Here we are, very close to harvesting and we are over the moon excited to see these healthy looking flowers pop up. thanks for the quality bulbs!
