As in our previous, we have closed the business as of today. We just finished our last event and sold our last package of jerky and trail mix. We again would like to thank our long time fans, friends, and fellow vendors and all the new ones we have met. We had a great time meeting each and everyone of you, and seeing some of yours kids grow up of the years. To all the customers and shoppers that have gone to all the events and farmers market we have done, THANK YOU! Thank you for supporting all these small businesses. Please continue that support to you favorite vendor to help them continue to bring there products to you. Please stay safe and healthy and it will get better, take care till we met again.

One last thing to think about, if it was easy to be a knitter, artist, baker, farmer, restaurant owner, quit maker, jewelry maker, rancher or jerky producer. Then everyone would be doing it. It’s not, just like being a nurse, doctor, firefighter, teacher, grocery store worker or even a parent. You are what you are and you good at it, so keep up the great job.

We're sorry to inform our loyal customers that we are closing Do The Jerk-ey. The pandemic has limited our access to affordable quantities of quality meats and spices that you have come to expect from us.

We want to thank you for the years you have patronized us and trusted us to produce a product we could be proud of.

If there is anyone who wants to start their own jerky business with customer tested and approved recipes, we are selling our equipment, recipes, trademarked name, L.L.C and website/domain name.

We are so sorry to announce that we attended our last South of the James Farmers on October 31st. We would like to thank Karen, Doug and all the GrowRVA staff for all the wonderful summer markets over the last 12 years. Also all the outstanding vendors that have worked really hard to grow, raise and produce a variety of great local products. Finally all the customers who come the market in every kind of weather, raining, cool and breezy or on hot and humid days. Everyone made the Saturday market the best in the area. We wish the best to everyone and will truly miss getting up early on Saturday mornings. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all your support.

We are just finishing our last Carytown Farmer’s Market. We would like the thank Patrick Warner for inviting us to participate many years ago. The market has changed locations from the Carytown Cleaners Parking lot, Wells Fargo Bank parking lot, inside City Stadium and finally to the outside Parking lot. We have seen many changes over the years, while we have lost afew farmers market customers with the moves. We have kept some and also gain more. We would like to thank all the people who have adapted to the location changes and the social and economic changes. Please continue to support all the small businesses that set up at The Carytown Farmers Market to bring their quality products to you. Thank You very much and we will miss you.
