Acorn Acres Farm (formerly Welcome to My Garden) provides you with high-quality food cultivated in sustainable ways on our small family farm. We offer organically-fed and humanely-raised pork, lamb, poultry, and beef. Our beef is 100% grass-fed, and our lamb is 95% grass-fed (we believe sheep need a small amount of grain). We sell fruits and vegetables that are straight from our garden, grown with

no pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. We supply honey from bees that gather pollen from our farm's non-GMO, untreated, and diverse plant-life.

Fresh watermelons and cantaloupe are here, and there are so many delicious ways to enjoy them! 🍉🍈

From our team, Joanna enjoys freezing small pieces of melon and blending them with water for a refreshing agua fresca, while Lucy likes to sprinkle hers with a little salt to bring out its sweet, juicy flavor. And of course, nothing says summer like a fresh watermelon salad with crunchy cucumber, crumbled feta, and fresh herbs!

Have you wondered what we as farmers do and eat during our down time? We love sharing our ideas and coming up with new and unique ways to eat the summer harvests, and can dream up so many ways to eat our amazing Indiana-grown produce, picked at its peak and ready to deliver all the vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and flavor our hard working team needs to keep going!

We’re currently loving:
🫜 Thinly-sliced cooked beets, layered with fresh garlic, olive oil, and our favorite vinegar — we recommend adding plain yogurt over the top for an extra layer of yum!
🍅 Fresh cherry tomatoes roasted in the oven with garlic, feta, spices like oregano and thyme, drizzled with a healthy dose of olive oil
🌽 Grilled or sautéed fresh sweet corn, okra, eggplant, tomato, leeks, garlic, and jalapenos, mixed together in a flavorful warm salad

Sweet corn is here! 🌽 Grown by one of our partner family farms with organic methods (including camping out to keep critters out!) and non-GMO, heirloom seeds with no synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides, it’s one of our favorite summer staples. Not only is corn on the cob delicious, but it’s packed with fiber, B vitamins, and antioxidants!

Grill up corn on the cob and pair it with homemade A2 garlic butter or prepare it elote style brushed with mayo and covered in fresh cheese, chili powder, salt, and a squeeze of lime.
