Good morning to our Chestertown customers from Pleasant Valley Farm!

Thank you for supporting Kim and Pleasant Valley Flowers and Pleasant Valley Farm this past summer/fall. For clarification, Kim is the daughter of Paul and Sandy and grows all her flowers and her vegetables on Pleasant Valley Farm in Argyle where she grew up! Kim lives on Pleasant Valley Farm and helps run the farm in addition to doing her flowers.
With the Chestertown market closed, we are going to do a trial pickup site in Chestertown every other week (or whatever weeks we can make work). The pickup site would be at the Chestertown Library parking lot. We are looking to offer another pickup opportunity to you for this SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1st, but you must reach out this evening to us and place and order by THURSDAY (TOMORROW) 7AM.
If you are interested, please click the link below, create and account (if you have not already), and place an order. Sorry for the late notice on this… the store normally opens on SUNDAY at Noon of the week of orders.
Special deadlines are as follows:
• WED 1 PM Rockhill Bakehouse Bread
• WED 5 PM Amish Pies and Cookies
• All else including Battenkill Milk, Add-ons and Changes is THURSDAY 7AM for this week (USUALLY IS WEDNESDAY 11 PM)

We are looking to have a minimum amount of orders/value to make this happen! We need you to reach out to your friends and neighbors and spread the word! All orders must be done on the online store and you can choose to pay by cash, check, ACH (preferred) or Credit Card. If you use ACH or a Credit Card, many items put a hold on your card until weights are finalized Friday evenings, so the actual charge will not go through for several days (often a week). At this time, we are not charging for the delivery, but we encourage folks to do a tip on the order to cover some of our transportation expenses. There is a minimum order requirement of $25. We plan on running this trial through the fall, including the 2 holidays!
Our online store stocks over 600 items; we work with over 50 local vendors to provide a huge diversity of items, including organic produce from our farm, fish (fresh on some Saturdays and frozen on the alternate ones), all types of meats (mostly organic or pasture raised), eggs, jams, honey, syrup, olive oil, vinegars, fresh fruit, cheese, yogurt, sauerkrauts, gluten free baked goods, Amish cookies and pies, and a long list of frozen items (our vegetables, blueberries/strawberries, soups, applesauce, pot pies, quiches, etc), and also our own processed items (tomatoes, tomato sauce, pickles, relish, ketchup, garlic powder, ++), AND MANY MORE ITEMS!! Feel free to scroll through the whole store! When you order, you can choose “Chestertown Pickup” and follow all prompts for fulfilling the order.
Alternatively, you can also order and do a pickup ANY SATURDAY at:
• Rockhill Bakehouse in Glens Falls 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
• St. Clements Church in Saratoga 9:45 to 10:30 AM
• Pleasant Valley Farm in Argyle anytime (usually Saturday or Sunday)
Once you sign up, you will get 2 weekly notices as reminders with specials listed. Tonight, we will forward the notice from yesterday to you. We are just starting to organize for pre-orders for fresh whole Stonewood turkeys and frozen turkey breasts for Thanksgiving (deposits are required) which will be delivered on November 22nd.
