If you have visitors on your farm, ranch, vineyard, or fishery, you are invited to take part in a national survey about agritourism and direct sales. Whether you have a farmstand, u-pick, CSA, tastings, school field trips, events, tours, hunting, overnight stays, or open your farm to the public in any other ways, your experiences are important. This survey is confidential and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Results will be used to develop tools and resources for farmers. The survey will close January 31. Questions can be directed to Lisa Chase, [email protected] or 802-257-7967.

*About 15 years ago, Jim Vansteenkiste got a phone call from Kroger that changed his life. First up!!

We wanted to give a shout out to Ann, who during a visit this summer picked up our "Alpine" yarn in Wild plum and used a pattern we featured in an online magazine 'Interweave', article titled 'Wool Studio volume VI'! (Be sure to check it out! :D)

Here's what Ann wrote us this past week..

"I thought you would enjoy seeing pics of my newest sweater! The pattern you showed me worked out well. I ended up with just over one extra skein but am still debating whether to add a couple of inches to the length. (It's always hard to modify a sweater after you have blessed it by wearing it!) Or, maybe I can find a hat pattern that uses one skein! I love the color--my husband calls it my "greatest hit!" That would be a good pattern to use for advertising! Thanks for directing me to it!"
-Ann

Thanks Ann, the sweater looks fantastic!
