I love to bake. Especially cookies. For as long as I can remember, I have been covered in flour in the kitchen. It is my happy place. The place I go to clear my mind. My love for cookies developed after I became a Mama to my two girls. I began to build a community of new parents. People were always having babies. I made it a point to bring a meal to all my new Mama friends when they welcomed a new

baby into their family. I ALWAYS included cookies. Cookies got me through the early days of having new babies. I ate them with every meal. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cookies got me through the sleep deprivation and craziness of caring for a brand new person. I hoped that my cookies could give a little of that comfort to my new Mama friends. I didn't always hear back from the families about the dinner, but I almost always heard back about the cookies. That was the spark that got me where I am today.
