Avoid fruits and vegetables in excessive packaging! Those fancy apples or grapes may look temping in their cozy plastic containers, but you'll be paying for that convenience. They also create unnecessary cost to our environment even if the plastic is recyclable. If you have a choice (you often don't when it comes to berries), buy your produce loose and carry with a reusable bag!
