It’s a beautiful day for a market! We’re open at 10am through 2PM at Peterson Elementary Community Field (Bryn Mawr & Kimball).

Free yoga at 10am with Liana Haigh, live music all day from James Cornolo, Tipsy Town, and Quick Fix 5.0, and hands-on science demos from The Physics Dimension at the kids tent.

Bringing diapers? Drop them off for our diaper drive benefitting Albany Park Mutual Aid.

The market has a pretty good soundtrack this Sunday, and some good neighbors to sit with while you listen.

🧘 Free community yoga with Liana Haigh kicks things off at 10am on the field.

🎶 Then live music all day:
James Cornolo — 10:00 to 10:45AM
Tipsy Town — 11:00 to 11:45AM
Quick Fix 5.0 — 12:15 to 1:45PM

We’re also collecting diapers at the market for a diaper drive benefitting Albany Park Mutual Aid. If you’ve got an unopened pack you can spare, bring it along on Sunday. Every little bit helps a neighbor out.

- Refreshing mocktails and seasonal drinks made from scratch using house-made bases, inspired by culture and creativity.

- a cooperative of family farms from northeastern Indiana
- an urban farm based in the south side of Chicago, offering and educating composting services

Heads up, families (and anyone who could use a good stretch): Our May 17 market has a lot going on!
is bringing hands-on science demos to the kids' tent that are part experiment, part performance 🔬 They'll run vacuum-chamber demonstrations showing what happens to everyday stuff when air pressure *disappears*. It's the kind of thing that gets kids (and honestly, adults!) genuinely curious. Free for all ages, no signup needed.

And at 10am, join Liana Haigh for free community yoga right on the field at Peterson. Liana is a certified yoga teacher and recent graduate of Bloom Yoga's 200-hour training program. She brings a trauma-informed approach to her teaching and focuses on accessible, alignment-based classes where everyone is welcome to move at their own pace. Come as you are, just bring something to stand on!

Our first market of the season is just around the corner (May 17!)—and we've got a lot to be excited about.

New this market at the kids' tent: is bringing hands-on science demos that are equal parts educational and wild. Think vacuum chambers, air pressure experiments, and science you can actually taste. Free for all ages!

And some familiar favorites are back:

🎵 : records, tapes, CDs & music goods
🥖 : sourdough bagels, artisan loaves & baked goods

The days are getting longer, and that can only mean one thing: the North Park Community Market is waking up from its winter slumber! ☀️

We’re an entirely volunteer-run market, and we’re looking for a few more neighbors to help make the 2026 season our best yet. It’s an amazing way to support your community, meet your neighbors, and be part of something special--with a very low time commitment. Just 6 markets a year!

We’re looking for:
📋 Volunteer Coordinator: Keep our crew organized and connected
🎨 Kids Activity Coordinator: Plan fun for our littlest neighbors
🌱 Non-Profit Coordinator: Connect us with community organizations
🛠️ Setup/Teardown Crew: Help us set up and pack up (2–3 markets)
