💚 Highlight of the week: What would a farmers market be without its farmers?Smiling M, Los Rodriguez, Meraki Urban Farm and Hebron Farms , bring so much more than fruits and vegetables to our market. They help us connect with where our food comes from, the people who grow it, and the land that sustains us.

One of our favorite things to see is shoppers greeting our farmers by name, asking what's in season and sharing how their produce becomes a part of meals on their tables. These connections are what make farmers markets so special. 💚🌽🫜

From setup and teardown, to processing SNAP transactions, counting market visitors, snapping photos, and tackling countless behind-the-scenes tasks, your time and dedication make this market possible. Rain or shine, hot or cold—you always show up.

Many of our volunteers have been with us since literally day one—all six seasons! We're so grateful for your commitment, generosity, and the heart you bring to our community each week.

Not 100% sure why, but we really feel like of ALL the Pups of Uptown we see...this one is the closest to speaking English to us. Anyone else agree? Just such a 'knowing' look in those cute eyes!! Regardless of if you say it back or not though - you're a GOOD DOG!!
