Portage Park Farmer's Market We're the Friends of Portage Park, the park advisory council. Our Summer Market is located near the corner of Long and Irving Park Rd in beautiful Portage Park.

We run the neighborhood farmers market from 10AM–2PM every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday June-Oct at the corner of Long Ave and Irving Park Rd. A variety of vendors will sell produce, meats, baked goods, dairy products as well as prepared foods and specialty items. The market operates the first, third, and fifth (if applicable) Sundays of the month from 10am to 2pm, except for the first Sunday in July

(due to the Independence Day holiday). Our season begins the first Sunday of June and ends the first Sunday of October.

Tonight is the annual Portage Park Tree Lighting at 5PM at the Portage Park Playground! We hope to see you there for holiday tunes, Santa, and hot cocoa and cider provided by the offices of and

A few notes:
-The tree will be lit at 5:30PM
-The forecast is cold and the event is entirely outdoors so heavy layers are important
-The field house closes at 4:45 and will not be available during the event so please plan accordingly
