We have the meat freezers loaded up and are ready to go.
Our Herbalist is taking a vacation day from her RN position so she can go with me. She has heard me comment on how special this market is but even more on the customers that come through.
And to the lady that came last week looking for goods to render lard and cracklins, I have already loaded more than you would consider. I WILL NOT be sold out this time. I apologize again for the inconvenience.
Hope to see you all there!
Thank you for supporting our lil farm.

We will be participating in the LaFayette Farmers Market on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following the pickup of one of our black angus from freezer camp on Friday, our freezers will be fully stocked. Our herbalist has been diligently working on various products, including skin care solutions such as frankincense and Dollies Derma-love, designed to alleviate springtime irritants and customized formulations for garden-related muscle discomfort. We appreciate your support for local farms and invite you to join us on Saturday as we take the opportunity to honor our First Responders.

We are pleased to report that this gilt has farrowed four more piglets this morning, marking three weeks in a row of pig litters and a beef calf. While this gilt is not of our preferred breed, its productivity has earned it a reprieve from culling. Clearly, our Berk boar escaped from its enclosure and rejoined the group without permission.
It is always a blessing to have births on the farm!
