Local Donut Peaches Incoming! Donut peaches are a summer favorite known for their unique flattened shape, extra-sweet flavor, and tender, juicy flesh. Their small pit means more fruit in every bite.

These peaches come to us from Comanche Creek Farms, one of our longest-standing farm partners. We recently had the opportunity to visit the farm and witness firsthand their commitment to organic, sustainable farming and healthy soils.

Cooler Update! Friday, June 12: We are waiting for the necessary part to be overnighted and installed tomorrow (Sat.) There is a limited stock of dairy, meat, and cheese available. Some items will only be available by asking a clerk as we continue to monitor our temperatures closely. The Hot and Salad Bar are open while our kitchen staff works hard to refill the Grab and Go. Unfortunately, we cannot get deliveries over the weekend, however, we have placed a special order for a Monday delivery.

Cooler Update! Most coolers are back up and running, though some are looking a little sparse today.

Produce is holding strong, fresh eggs and chicken arrived, and our crew is rebuilding the Grab and Go case. The salad bar is open and the hot bar has a few items available.

We lost a quite a bit of dairy, meat, and cheese during the outage, but restocking begins with tomorrow’s deliveries.

The good news? Much of the unsold product is being donated to 530 Food Rescue to help local folks.

Thanks for sticking with us! We’re open and excited to see everyone soon!

More local and organic fruit is filling our shelves! This week, save on organic pineapples and mangoes, and take advantage of peak stone fruit season with deals on California-grown peaches, nectarines, and apricots. These Fresh Deals are valid now through June 16.

This month, and every month, we join our community in celebrating love, diversity, and acceptance. At the Co-op, our doors are wide open to everyone. Our commitment to creating an inclusive space is not just a statement; it’s a core value that guides us year-round.

We believe every person deserves to feel welcomed, valued, respected, and safe. We proudly stand with our LGBTQ+ community and remain committed to fostering a space where everyone belongs.

In June, round up your purchases at the register to support the Stonewall Alliance Center, the North State’s LGBTQ+ community center. This Saturday, June 6 in celebration of Chico Pride, we will match all round-up donations up to $250. Look for us in the plaza as well! 🌈🌈🌈

As California-grown produce comes into season, our shelves are filling up with local and regional flavor. Look for our MORE tags to see what is fresh today.

And there’s even MORE good news to share: our MORE (Matching on Regional Eats) program has officially been funded for another year and will continue through June 2027! That means CalFresh shoppers can keep getting 75% off all California-grown produce when using their EBT card.

We love being able to bring more fresh, healthy food to our community while supporting small independent farmers. Help us share this news far and wide! The more people we can reach and welcome into our store, the better!
