Today's the day, SEASON OPENING DAY, and both Spring color and Spring veggies are blowing out the gates in the hands of eager gardeners. Yesterday we got our Proven Winners certification completed and we grabbed a few of our favorite PW annuals, perennials and shrubs for a staff pic. Newest hire Halli Anderson on the left, Donna Hicks Pitchford next, then Gabby Kremer, and myself Beth Weidner, all ready to help you find your favorites! It’s happening! Justin Anders of McDonald County has officially kicked off the season with our first confirmed morel find!

With the forecast looking prime, I have no doubt this won’t be the last county to light up the map before the week is over. The hunt is officially ON! Time to lace up those boots, get out there, and start searching!
