Church Street Produce

Church Street Produce Local produce and yummy baked goods sold in a shabby chic atmosphere, seasonal from May to mid-Sept. OPEN NOW FOR THE SEASON! The boy can cook!

--a charming family-run business with lots of surprises. We sell fresh, mostly local fruit and veggies, in season...free range eggs, cut herbs and flowers, and best of all, Jerry's baked goods. If you've never tried a tomato pie, you haven't tasted summer. And his homemade marinara is luscious and addicting. The hot dessert pies are also winners: blueberry, peach berry, chocolate or plain pecan an

d more, minis if you're "being careful" or full sized if you're "living it up". (Most pies are made to order.) Finally, come shop in our Picker's Section, filled w/eclectic and vintage-finds!

Caught in the shop today. Spent quiet time watching his friends eat all the birdseed.

Working this out in my head as I write. Friends, family, customers asking when we open for the season...calling, pulling in. Intentions are always the Thurs of Mother's Day weekend, soft-opening, some produce, lots of pies, no Picker's Section yet but maybe some "yard sale" items outside. Well, due to a major family event (trauma), coupled w/Jerry working to finish some wood jobs for Alms Woodworking (his fall, winter, spring job), we've had to revamp, pull back, relax about opening. Our hearts are just not there yet. Our daughter Devin and our grandkids were in a head-on collision 4/27. Blessed as they were, kids just had seatbelt cuts/bruises, some soreness. Baby was amazingly fine in his turned-around car seat. Dev took the brunt...air bag working (on her face, for sure) and her back. She's going to need time and help. Her husband Taylor is there 100%, but my heart and mind are there 100%, tooooo.

Therefore, instead of a soft opening on May 7, we are at peace w/our decision to ONY OFFER PIES for MOTHER'S DAY SATURDAY and SUNDAY for now. Tomato pies, for sure, along w/blueberry, tripleberry, cherry berry, pecan, chocolate pecan are the choices for now. We'll add on by Memorial Weekend, when we hope to be full-on!

Phone: 757 990-0963 (no voicemail or texting)
757 990-2641 (My cell...I do prefer live talking, but will respond to text or vm...although ur call might go to spam).

Bless all for understanding, along w/orders. Feel free to share and spread the word to those not on social media who might normally shop w/us. Thx, P and J
