🥔 The farm is absolutely loving the rain right now.

We’ve got more beautiful Red Norland new potatoes this week, another strong carrot harvest, and far more turnips than last week (which vanished quickly at market 😄).

We’re also beginning to harvest our garlic, and it is looking MUCH better than last year’s crop — big, healthy, and full. Our subscribers will get the first taste of some fresh uncured garlic before the rest begins curing for storage.

And speaking of subscriptions…

📦 We are almost FULL.
Only 2 subscription slots remain as of today.

For $100, subscribers receive:
🥬 Better value than buying item-by-item
🥕 First access to limited harvests
🍓 Priority on items that sell out quickly
📦 4 weekly farm boxes filled with the freshest seasonal goods

This week on the farm we also have limited:
🍓 Strawberries
🫐 Blackberries
🥚 Eggs

Reserve early if you want some — quantities are small and they will likely disappear quickly.

And don’t forget Dr. Lisa’s beautiful flower bouquets while you’re at the booth 💐

We’re also continuing preparations for our expansion into the Wheeler District Farmers Market, and we’re incredibly excited to meet new folks there while continuing to serve our wonderful OKC Farmers Public Market customers.

Reserve here before Friday at noon:

🥕 Big week at the farm.

First, some exciting news: we officially got accepted into the Wheeler District Farmers Market! 🎡

Starting May 29th you’ll be able to find us:
🎡 Fridays: Wheeler District (6–9 PM)
🏙️ Saturdays: OKC Farmers Public Market
⛪ Sundays: Church pickup/drop-off
🏡 Fridays–Saturdays: On-farm & Farmers Market Connection pickup

Second: our new 4-week farm subscriptions are officially here.

For $100, subscribers receive 4 weekly farm boxes filled with whatever is freshest and most abundant — plus first dibs on limited items that tend to disappear quickly.

And speaking of limited items…

🥕 We just harvested our first carrots of the season.
🥔 We dug our first Red Norland new potatoes (thin-skinned and buttery — truly one of my favorite harvests).
🥬 Greens continue coming in strong.
💐 Dr. Lisa has beautiful grab-and-go bouquets this week, with cornflowers, dahlias, and other seasonal blooms.

Also: a huge thank you to everyone who came by market last week. We nearly sold out of everything. Tran made samples of salad mix and bok choy stir fry and people absolutely cleaned us out 😄

Cold room repairs are still underway, so please continue rooting for us — and for our little re**er trailer that has become the unexpected hero of the season.

Reserve orders here before Friday at noon:

Thanks for continuing to support this little farm.

🌿 Big news from the farm this week:
our online store is officially back online!

You can now reserve produce, prepared goods, and our new subscription boxes ahead of market pickup:

We’re also launching a simple new 4-Week Farm Subscription:
📦 Weekly seasonal produce box
🌱 $100 for 4 weeks
🥬 Packed with what is freshest and most abundant from the farm

Subscribers can expect a rotating mix of:
🥗 Greens
🌿 Herbs
🥕 Root vegetables
🍅 Seasonal veggies
🍓 Occasional fruit
🍰 Occasional baked goods, jams, pickles, and jellies

Meanwhile, the little re**er trailer that could is still faithfully carrying us through while we wait on cold room repairs 😄

And friends… we are absolutely swimming in bok choy right now. Tran has been making stir fry with soy sauce, fish sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and sesame seeds, and it seriously delicious.

The garden is looking beautiful. Tomatoes are promising, peppers are going in the ground, cucumbers are starting up, and squash is on the way.

📍 We’ll be at the OKC Farmers Public Market this Saturday, 9–2.

⏰ Online orders close Friday at noon.

Thanks for supporting us through another season of growing.

🌿 We’re Back — And It’s a Good Week to Come Early

It’s good to be back at market.

The season is really starting to pick up, and we’re coming in with a nice little bounty this week — fresh salad mix, a beautiful assortment of radishes, and just a couple of quarts of strawberries for those who get there early 🍓

And one more highlight…
the flowers are stunning this week. 💐

Mom has been hard at work putting together arrangements, and we’ll have some absolutely gorgeous peonies at the booth. If you’ve been waiting for a week to grab flowers, this is probably it.

Everything is starting to feel like it’s tipping into full spring now, and we’re glad to be right in the middle of it.

Come early for strawberries… stay for the flowers.

🍓 Strawberries & Wedding Bells

Spring is really starting to show itself out here on the farm.

The strawberries are coming in almost daily now, and we’ve been enjoying the abundance (even if I’m still learning the perfect moment to pick them for peak sweetness). The birds have noticed too… so netting is going up soon 😄

We’re also seeing our asparagus crowns pushing up already — a small but encouraging glimpse of what’s to come next year.

Quick note: we will not be at the farmers market this Saturday due to a wedding.

We’ll be back next week, and the season is really starting to hit its stride — so we’re looking forward to seeing you then.

Thanks for being part of this with us.

🌱 Spring on the Farm

Well… it has been a while.

The last time I sent out a farm update, we were heading into Thanksgiving. And now somehow it’s already the beginning of April, we’re two weeks into market season, and a whole lot of life has happened in between.

The good news is that Triple Cross Acres is still very much alive and kicking — and a lot of genuinely good things have been happening here.

This year we:
🌿 became Certified Naturally Grown (and, as far as I know, the only CNG farm in Oklahoma currently)
🏆 received the 2026 Inspiring Beginning Producer Award from OKLAS
❄️ purchased a cooler trailer
🍓 planted more strawberries, berry bushes, and asparagus
🏡 are planning to build our farm store
👨‍🌾 and hired a new employee, Alex, who has already been a huge help

I’ve also had to do some real thinking over the winter about what this farm can realistically be in this season of life.

The short version:
We’re still growing. We’re still farming. We’re still showing up.
But we’re also simplifying.

Last year taught me a lot, and this year I’m trying to build a farm that is not only productive, but sustainable — personally and operationally too.

So if things look a little simpler and more focused this season, that’s on purpose.

Fewer moving parts, better done.

As for Shared Ground™, it’s not gone — but it is being thoughtfully reworked into something simpler and more sustainable.

Thank you all for sticking with us. Truly.

🦃 Thankful Days & Cozy Evenings at Triple Cross Acres

Happy Thursday, friends! It’s been a wet and cloudy week on the farm, but the strawberries and garlic don’t seem to mind — they’re poking up through the pine needles and looking happier than ever. Lettuce, spinach, and carrots we planted during that surprise heat wave are sprouting too, and Tran has been experimenting with our very humble rosehip harvest (a thorny adventure, to say the least 😄).

We’ll be at the OKC Farmers Market this Saturday, and then we’re taking a few weekends off to rest, regroup, and enjoy the holidays together. Last week some Disney princesses (pretty sure it was Moana, Tiana, and Elsa!) stopped by the booth, and Daphne absolutely had to get a picture. Moments like that make market days special.

As Thanksgiving approaches — and school break with it — we’re leaning into the gift of slowing down. Winter teaches you to appreciate family and stillness in a way farming never let me understand before these last few years.

Wishing all of you a joyful and restful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be grateful for, and we’re thankful to share this little patch of Oklahoma with you.

🍁 November Reflections & Fresh Beginnings

It’s been a full month since you last heard from us — and what a month it’s been! Between Tran’s surgery, a family loss, a wedding, and a cold that made its rounds, we missed a few markets but are finally back in the swing of things.

The first frost has come, summer crops are finished, and cool-weather greens are thriving. We planted two full beds of garlic and two of strawberries, with even more berry bushes on the way for spring. 🌱

We’ll be at the OKC Farmers Market this Saturday with a smaller fall selection — greens, carrots, beets, herbs, pickles, pepper jelly, brownies, Swedish treats, and more. Come say hi, stock up, and help us celebrate a big milestone:
👉 We are now officially [Certified Naturally Grown!](https://www.naturallygrown.org/) 🌿

Thank you all for your patience, kindness, and encouragement this year. Farming is hard work, but knowing that you look forward to what we grow makes every early morning worth it.
