This late-maturing variety is known for its rich flavor and smooth, custardy texture — a true fall treat you don’t want to miss.

We will be open tomorrow from 9:30 am - 11 am and then again from 5:30 pm - 6 pm.

Our trees are full of Saijo, Fuyu, and other delicious varieties (such as Sheng, Giombo, Tamopan and Honan Red) each with their own unique flavor and texture. Whether you love the sweet, custardy, honey-like Saijo or the crisp, crunch of Fuyu, there’s a persimmon for everyone to enjoy.

Come stroll the grove, pick right from the trees, and take home the freshest fall flavors. Perfect for snacking, baking, or sharing with friends and family!

We have lots of Saijo variety in all stages of ripening. In Japanese Saijo means “the very best one“. And we have Fuyu (crunch variety) also at all stages of ripening. Please schedule an appointment or send us a message to come out and pick. We are closed on Sundays. Persimmons are $4.00/pound.

We believe the Saijo persimmons will only be around another 7-10 days. Schedule an appointment to come out and pick this wonderfully rich and intensely sweet, honey-like flavor with a custard-like flesh fruit. We also have other persimmons varieties available. We still have Saijo and Fuyu (and some other varieties) persimmons available by appointment only. We have opened up more appointment slots! We are closed on Sundays and fruit are $4.50/pound.

The volume of ripening Saijo persimmons is increasing fast. They started ripening two weeks earlier than in previous years, and we expect that the season for picking Saijo will end about the end of this month. The Fuyu (crunchy) variety is also ripening earlier than in previous years and many fruits are now turning orange. Please schedule an appointment. We have appointments most mornings and evenings. We are closed on Sundays. They are $4.50/pound.

Several persimmon varieties are ready to pick and eat. Many fruits are maturing about two weeks earlier than previously because of the weather changes. We are opening up more days and times for persimmon connoisseurs to come out and harvest. We have labeled the varieties in the photos. They are $4.50/pound.
