Local honey means local bees. Local bees means local fauna and flowers. Local fauna and flowers are what give you allergies. The best way to combat these seasonal allergies is actually to ingest spoon fulls daily during high peak allergies season. This will allow your body to tolerate the sudden increase in pollen by being exposed and lessen the effect of seasonal allergies(which are not only seasonal but local to you). So next time you shoe a bee away maybe wave instead and thank them for being the powerhouse of mother nature’s pharmacy.
