The Country Meat Co Marketplace

07/09/2026

To Our Country Meat Co. Marketplace Family,

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of The Country Meat Co. Marketplace.

This decision was not made lightly. We have fought for this store every single day.

We believed in this mission enough to keep showing up through rising operating costs, ongoing theft, acts of violence in the surrounding area, unmet financial commitments, and challenges that ultimately made it impossible for the business to remain sustainable.

We will continue doing what we’ve always done, feeding people, creating opportunities, investing in communities, and staying true to the mission that has always guided us.

This isn’t goodbye.

It’s simply see you soon.

Because if you’ve been following our journey, then you already know…

We don’t stop. We build.

IT’S ON TO THE NEXT ONE….

From our family to yours, thank you! Serving this community has been one of the greatest honors of our journey, and for that, we will always be grateful.

With sincere gratitude,

The Bryant Family

We’re here.
We’re in Avondale.

And we’re building the bridge…making fresh food, real groceries, and everyday essentials accessible where they belong.

We’re still standing.
We’re still serving.
And we’re not going anywhere.

Why Avondale?

It’s always been about proving that our communities deserve fresh food, opportunity, and investment just like anywhere else.

We’re doing something that hasn’t been done here in a long time. It’s not easy but it’s absolutely worth it!

Our commitment to serve Avondale means:

• Keeping dollars circulating in the community
• Hiring and creating better jobs for people who live right here
• Working with local vendors and suppliers whenever possible
• Making sure families have fresh produce, quality meats, and everyday essentials within walking distance

And yes… we’re still on the journey.

Building something like this takes time, patience, and community support. But we stepped up when others walked away and we are here to stay!

Now our ask is simple:
Rock with us. Shop with us. Grow with us.

We’re here.
We’re stocked.
And we’re serving the city.

Come check us out.
