Find us on Yelp! The tradition of the corner grocery store continues today at Beacon Food Mart.

We are the last of the neighborhood grocery stores on the east side, serving the Mt. Washington and Anderson Township areas. We are family owned and operated. Beacon has a superior full service meat and deli department. In the Deli, we make our own slow roasted Turkey and we roast our own Roast Beef (both Rare and Well Done). Made Fresh in the store daily. Nothing artificial, no preservatives, no

additives. We have a locally made Baked Ham that is outstanding. We make our own Chicken Salads (three kinds -- Traditional, Smoked, Grapes and Walnuts), Ham Salad, Salami Dip, and Spinach Dip. We have a good selection of cheeses and we make the best Foot Long subs in town! We bake our own bread and cut the meat and cheese fresh to order. We offer party trays and catering for your next big event. In our meat department, we only cut and sell USDA Choice to Prime Beef, fresh Amish Chicken and Grade A Pork. We make our own Sausages -- Italian, Metts, Brats, and other varieties too during the summer. We make our own twice baked potatoes and have recently started making twice baked sweet potatoes. Both are among our most popular items. We make our own meat balls, heat-to- eat meat loaves, chicken kiev, chicken cordon bleu, chicken popeye, stuffed peppers, stuffed pork chops, etc.. A real draw in our meat department is our ground beef and ground chuck. We start with Top Round and add our steak trimmings and grind fresh multiple times daily. We are one of the last to make ground beef the old fashioned way. Our Ground Beef is 80 - 85% lean and our Ground Chuck is 95% lean. In addition to our superior full service meat department, Beacon also has a wide selection of groceries, fine wine and beer, produce, and frozen foods.
