Lego Legion We are a FIRST (FLL) Lego League robotics team in Cincinnati (Mt. Healthy), Ohio, with CAFE Christian Homeschool Coop, using EV3 MIndstorm robots.

We ended the tournament with our robot in 6th place, although our top score was tied for second. Three way tie for first, three way tie for second! Placing is determine by subsequent scores and our third run was thrown off by a broken model. But super excited to be in the top 10!!! Then started the On The Spot challenge... brand new mat and models...three team alliances... 4 hours to build and program... not enough practice tables!! For perspective, we were in first with 10 points 😆

Whew! It's been a whirlwind here in Cali!! Our first run was ishy but our second run was AWESOME! We hit 530 and are in third. Judging was great and we are loving meeting teams from all over. And lunch in the California sunshine is pretty great too.

The gang is back together!! Some of us traveled yesterday morning and those of us here checked out the tidepools. Then it was move in time! The booth is up, the bot is unpacked, and after an early breakfast we are heading in to get some practice. The tables are actually built differently so we will have to do some adjusting.

Aaand we're off!! After a VERY early run to the airport, Lego Legion wave one landed at LAX with a robot in a box. Our flight attendant is a former FLL team member and gave us a good luck bag! Fingers crossed that the case with the attachments is waiting for us!!
