Dahlia, such a beautiful flower. Was out watering the garden(so it hopefully rains a bit!) And found this beauty! McIntosh apples and Bartlett pears are ready to enjoy, and the sweetcorn and fresh veggies are soooo good! Come see us at 4904 IL Rte 64, Clare. We are open til 7!

Half price sweetcorn! Some of our corn is getting mature. Those more experienced ears are perfectly good for eating and would be perfect for canning or freezing...

Let's talk Sweetcorn. Most roadside stands have had Sweetcorn and it's winding down and maybe getting... well... a bit mature.
Most of us have several plantings and when one gets mature we move on to the next planting.
Our first 2 plantings were "shared" with the wildlife. Now our 3rd and 4th are ready to enjoy and number 5 should take is into September. Come and get yourself some young fresh Sweetcorn. While you are here make sure to get some yummy tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers and other veggies!
