Well folks... the veggie season is coming to an end... the roadside stand is closed and the signs will come down today(utility AND roadwork doesn't help).
If you are in need of tomatoes(limited) basil, swiss chard, flowers, honeycrisp apples or PEPPERS, we have them reach out. Oh the peppers! Sweet, shish*to, anaheim chili, pascilla bajo, ancho grande, jalapeño, pueblo chili or serrano... we have them! They are producing like crazy. Message here so we can schedule something.

Where are all my canning friends? The tomatoes are FINALLY in and the paste tomatos are just awesome! Had to pick prior to the rain so some of them are less ripe. They were already turning so picking early won't affect the taste. Also! Peppers! Oh boy, the beautiful peppers! Stop by! 4904 IL Rte 64, Clare

Half price sweetcorn! Some of our corn is getting mature. Those more experienced ears are perfectly good for eating and would be perfect for canning or freezing...
Since we plant in succession, we still have the full priced yummy sweetcorn too!
Come see us at 4904 IL rte 64 and get yours today!
Its a perfect weekend for grilling and nothing goes better with barbecue than corn on the cob!

Let's talk Sweetcorn. Most roadside stands have had Sweetcorn and it's winding down and maybe getting... well... a bit mature.
Most of us have several plantings and when one gets mature we move on to the next planting.
Our first 2 plantings were "shared" with the wildlife. Now our 3rd and 4th are ready to enjoy and number 5 should take is into September. Come and get yourself some young fresh Sweetcorn. While you are here make sure to get some yummy tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers and other veggies!
Can't wait to see you at the farm!
