Meat Cutters/Butchers Wanted!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. The Meat Cutter will be responsible for preparing meats to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare cuts of meat according to quality and yield standards
- Operate meat processing equipment including knives, slicers, saws, and grinders
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all meats
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to food safety guidelines

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proficiency in using tools such as knives and slicers
- Strong understanding of meat cutting techniques

Skills:
- Food safety
- Knife handling skills
- Food production expertise
- Proficient in food handling practices
- Meat cutting proficiency

We have made the difficult decision to close our small retail space due to unforeseen circumstances.
With current staffing shortages, our priority must shift to maintaining production floor operations and ensuring consistent quality for our valued customers.
Although this closure may be temporary, we are currently unable to provide a definitive timeline.
We appreciate the patronage of our customers and will be announcing pop-up sale events to facilitate the sale of our existing inventory.

Our hog fabrication and further processing operations will remain the same. We look forward to serving the small farmers of the community and surrounding area.
