After another crazy windstorm our stand fell down, so after a week or two of just not messing with it- I finally got it back up & with our chickens laying faster now than ever… we just set out 5 dozen and 18 count of our unwashed brown eggs at the stand! 🥚

We’ve got a little surprise… 🫣

… we got some more baby chicks to add to the family (& mom got her silkies!!) 🐣

While they grow big and strong, we still have our original chickens & they are starting to lay more and more everyday! Please do not hesitate to stop by the egg stand!

‼️ Just a few announcements: ‼️

•We will be reducing prices to $3.00 a dozen for our unwashed brown eggs. 🥚

•Please return any cartons to the egg stand at your earliest convenience, or we take donations of cartons as well!

•As stated before, the profits go to our boys and will continue to, this is their project and we (Mom & Dad) are just along for the ride!

Some facts about eggs 🍳

• Eggs are good for your eyes. They contain lutein which prevents cataracts and muscle degeneration.

• An egg shell can have as many as 17,000 pores.

• Egg shell and yolk color can vary but have no effect on taste or quality.

• Breed determines egg shell color. Commercial eggs are brown or white, but some breeds can also lay blue, green, or pink eggs.

• Egg yolks are one of the few foods that naturally contain Vitamin D.

• Brown eggs are more expensive because the hens that lay them are larger and require more feed.
