Bittersweet feelings today as we open for the last time. We have been blessed to serve so many great people in Clarion and the surrounding area. Loved meeting people from far away that came to our little market to take home their own little slice of Iowa goodness. Yet, it was not enough to sustain itself. Ordering everything online & driving to the big box stores to buy inferior products are killing our Main Streets. We struggled to keep shelves stocked with the best and freshest while also keeping up with ever increasing property taxes and utilities, not to mention gas for Dawn to travel to get these products. Huge thank you to all who shopped here on a regular basis we are truly grateful. To those whose products we sold, thank you for working with us, you are what makes Iowa such a great place to live and work.
We hope this puts an end to the tears and worry filled, sleepless nights wondering how we were going to keep this going. On to our next chapter and more time together and chasing grandbabies. May God bless all our past customers,vendors, the great state of Iowa, and the United States of America. ~th
