I am now a stay at home Pastry Chef/ Mom/ Wife. I started this page a “safe place” for to enjoy baking once again. I went through a mourning period of 7 years after closing the doors to my previous confection business BABY BIRD. I wanted to be more attentive to my family and not wanting to miss out on those very precious early years of my sons life.

Just as a whim I started baking and sharing it with friends and neighbors who gave back amazing feed back and appreciation. It gave me the encouragement needed to take that leap again. It finally occur to me that I can bake what my heart desires once again knowing that there is friends and neighbors that are appreciative of my work who will enjoy the pastries and baked goods I bake.

The Food Therapy is because this page is just that. A safe place to relieve anxiety therapeutically through baking and creating. A place to center my mind and put my restless hands to work. It is also Food Therapy when you get to come home from a rough day and you bite into delicious homemade donuts or any pastry. It can be that pint of delicious ice cream you save that closes the day and you can breath.

This is not your regular home based business. It is a place where I can bake again as I see fit. This is more of a hobby where productions are of my choosing and therefore of limited quantities at a time. It is a place that in a way is reversed from other “business models” . A place where the orders are based on what the Chef craves and the customer can either choose to trust and be delightfully surprised or just choose to pass.
