I love to bake and sold as a home-based bakery for 10+ years, but I don't really intend to sell for the purpose of taking orders and making a bunch of money right now. Baking is an expensive hobby to have these days, though, and I really don't have use for the large quantities of baked goods that I like to make, so they end up in the trash. I have decided to try something: I will get the urge to bake something, I will bake it, and I will post all the extras here for people to get at a price that will cover my costs. You get freshly baked, delicious treats at a cheap price, and I don't break the bank every time I decide to try a new recipe or bake an old standby. Win-win! You are welcome to suggest something for my next baking fit, and who knows, I just might take you up on it. I will limit actual "orders" to 1-2/month, but those will factor in a cost for my time since it will be specific and time-sensitive. Looking forward to making this work!

Just spent some time looking through the pictures on this page. It's time to turn it off as I am no longer taking orders. As I looked through the pictures, there were several I didn't remember making, but I am thankful that I had the opportunity to try new things and grow in that way. Thanks to all of you who supported that small business. It's with a bit of sadness that I close out the page, but much happiness that it is for another, greater love that I exchange it. I'll leave it for a few hours in case anyone else wants to see their cakes one last time. :P

Here's an update for the Christmas cookie dough parties. The time is getting close! Here are the dates that have several signed up already. Please sign up for a date if you have not already done so. We will make 10 different types of cookies. If you need a few more details, look on the notes section.

Saturday, November 28, 9-12
Sunday, December 6, 2-4
Wednesday, December 9, 9-11

If there are at least 5 people for another date, I would be happy to add back one of the dates. Again, if you have others you would like to invite, please feel free. The more, the merrier.
