After more than 26 years, the time has come to close the doors of Wabash Clay Custom Meats, Inc.
This has been an extremely difficult decision. This business has provided for my family and many others over the years and I am beyond grateful for the patronage, the support and the loyalty from our community and customers along this journey.
At this point in life, I have chosen health and family over keeping the business open. While this chapter is coming to a close, I am thankful for memories and relationships built with employees and customers over these last 27 years.
This has been a personal decision, not a financial one. Nearly three decades ago, I and Les Pearson came into this business and began together. No grand opening, no marketing splash. We just started. The decision to stop is the same. Quietly and without production. It is time.
