New favorite snack unlocked.

This is my primavera sourdough toasted and topped with burrata, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with maldon salt and fresh cracked pepper.

A new seasonal flavor is at this week: Tortelloni Primavera.

These are handmade tortelloni (a little bigger than the classic tortellini) filled with ricotta, parmesan, asparagus, snap peas, bell pepper, red onion, shallot, garlic, herbs, and lemon. It’s a lighter, fresher flavor for spring and a fun change from my classic tortellini.

For serving, keep it simple (or do whatever you want🤷‍♀️). Butter, a light white wine cream sauce, fresh parmesan, and a little lemon would all be good with this.

Dried Orecchiette

Carrot gnocchi is now stocked at as well as fresh tortellini and a restock of dried pappardelle.

I just dropped off a fresh batch, and if you’re looking for an easy dinner, there are some really good pairings in the store right now! Try it with pesto rosso from Nonna's, basil pesto from Papa Joe's Produce, fermented garlic paste from Wellborn Farms , or keep it simple with handmade butter and fresh sage for a brown butter sage sauce. Cross E Dairy & Beef also has fresh cream if you want to make a creamy sauce, and Papa Joe’s lettuce would make an easy side salad.

Everything is at Cross E, ready to turn into dinner.
