Happy Labor Day weekend! If you’re going to Oktoberfest, Lisa says you HAVE to get the schnitzel from Frank’s Bratwurst! We are closed today and the entire West Side Market is closed on Labor Day and Wednesday, September 9th. See you on the 11th!

Import Store pizza party!

Apps — A & J Produce sugar melon wrapped in prosciutto, cambozola stuffed dates, castelvetrano olives, prosciutto and provolone stuffed peppers

Pizzas - many more not pictured but favorites were an Ajvar, Kalamata olive, and French feta pie, and a ricotta with lemon and basil pie topped zucchini.

Dessert - pizza for dessert! Chocolake Chicago Pistachio spread pie and a sweetened ricotta and cocktail cherry pie topped with mint (inspired by Pizza + Goods cherry pie)

Meet Max, our Euro USA, Inc. sales rep. He’s sharing about a new cheese in the case, the Cabot Creamery Cooperative and Jasper Hill Farm clothbound cheddar. Max won the 2025 The Cheesemonger Invitational and certainly knows his cheese!

Last but certainly not least, the Red Witch! An Alpine style cheese made in Switzerland. It’s buttery, nutty, and has a little bit of the funk you get with a washed rind cheese. The rind is coated in paprika, which gives it the red color. Made with raw milk.

A little throwback Thursday to me and Ed (aka Dad) working behind the counter in 2021. That was the year I moved back to Cleveland! Ed and Lisa came to visit me back in 2019 and told me they were considering buying the business. I promised I would move home if they did. 5 years later and I’m now able to work there full time. It’s been so fun working together, we hope you stop by for a visit soon!
