A new addition to our Saturday celebration of Our great friend Dimetrios, from Agora Foods International will be set up with treats from Gourmino Swiss Cheeses! It just keeps getting better!

I’ve been hoping this photo would show up. Sadly, we heard through a mutual friend that our dear friend, Brian, amazing cheesemaker and the genius behind Lake Erie Creamery, passed away recently.

He was also an amazing gardener, a brilliant artist and lover of poetry.

He welcomed us into the cheese world and this is a perfect example of the kind of person he was.

I was babysitting our fridge on the sidewalk until Michael got off work.
I had posted on Facebook that we needed some help. Brian showed up about 15 minutes later. His Fromage headquarters being practically around the corner.

We used his amazing chèvre to age and create Goatzart.

His cheese, face at the market and beautiful art, as well as his kindness, are missed.

Our sympathies to Salene, his family and friends.

This card was a lovely surprise during the holiday.

Miss you friend.

Way back machine to 4138 Pearl.
When we were making cheese and aging it in the basement caves of our original shop.
Punk, Treadway, O’Tooles, Pickle In The Middle, Wino, Revere, Teffenhardt, Breakwall and Goatzart with Lake Erie Creamery goat cheese. Just some wonderful memories.
