It is with bitter feelings toward the city of Cleveland that I have to tell all of you friends and patrons that I have had to close my businesses at the West Side Market. It was a very hard decision and thing to do, but I have to think of my family and well being first. After 36 years of blood, sweat, and tears, (that are forming now), I am sorry that it took so long to post this. It is hard to say good bye. But because of total lack of management from Felicia Hall, horrible slum lords that the city of Cleveland is thanks to mayor Frank Jackson, and worst of all, the lack of fortitude and complete disregard and understanding from Director Michael Cox who in my opinion is a real joke. After spending most of my life as a "marketeer", this was the last thing I wanted to do. But I had no choice. I planned on retiring with my West Side Market family and friends that I have provided excellent meals for years! The deplorable conditions they had me working under is totally unacceptable. They raise the rent every year, raise the licence fees, raise taxes, screw up the parking lot and parking in general, where does it end? Well it just did.

I want to thank all of my followers, patrons, customers, friends, and family for being loyal for all these years. It's you who I totally appreciate and will miss the most!!!

If anyone is interested, I have lamb sausages made and prepackaged in the freezer. We have the famous Spicy Italian, and a newer Greek and Feta. Stop by and just ask!

I had a great time hanging out with Natalie Herbick as well as David "The Moss Man" Moss at the Historic West Side Market today. We will be on the "New Day Cleveland" show on Monday, December 16th, at 10:00 A.M. Keep your eyes open for us, and buy the best and freshest lamb from Turczyk's Meats, Stand D-11, at the West Side Market! Just look for our National Landmark, "Billy" the Goat Head on the top corner of our stand!!!

It is sooo good to be back in business!! It is so good to be back home. I have missed all my Market family and friends. Thank you all for coming out for our reopening and supporting not only "The Best Damn Lamb Stand In The Land", but all the other vendors as well!! THANK YOU!!!! WE COULDN'T"T DO IT WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!! BE PROUD!!

We are open Monday Dec. 17th from 8am to 4pm, Wed. 8am to 4pm, Fri. and Sat. from 7am to 6pm. We will be open on Christmas Eve Dec. 24th from 8am to 3pm for everyone to pick up their Christmas orders. We will be closed the day after Christmas, Wed., Dec 26th, but will be open on Fri. Dec. 28th from 8am to 6pm, and Sat. Dec 29th from 8am to 3pm for all your shopping conveniences. Thank You and once again, Happy Holidays from our family to yours!!!!!
