Ruth’s BBQ Sauce is the result of several years work to bring to market. In November of 2023, our first run was made in honor of Mrs. Ruth Smith. She was a faithful member of the Pinetops Church of God in Eastern North Carolina. She made this special recipe in her basement and gave it away to family and friends. This unique blend of vinegar-based ingredients is a real treat on just about anything you can put on your plate.
Several years ago, I pulled out the recipe Sister Ruth gave me and proceeded to get a trademark on the sauce. With the blessing of her family, I got to work. Today, we have a delicious barbeque sauce that we sell for the benefit of missions. All proceeds above the cost to produce this sauce goes to support the work of missions. That was the heartbeat of Sister Ruth. Any time she had extra money, she would give it to a mission’s project at church. Today, this sauce is made and sold in her memory.
For two years now, we have supported a missionary on the field from the sales from Ruth’s BBQ Sauce. That is the mission of this business. If you would like to join me in raising funds for a ministry project in your church or supporting missions, I would love for you to contact me about how we can partner with your church in this effort. So, this year I have selected September 1 through November 30, 2025 as time to raise funds for missions using Ruth’s BBQ Sauce. I am asking for 10-15 churches that would be willing to sell 30-50 boxes (contains 6 per box). Any amount you purchase to sell in your ministry context, a portion of the funds will go to the support of missions.
Boxes are $30. One bottle of sauce is $5. I have had a number of people give me $10, $20, and $100 per bottle when the found out the profits go to missions. You can set your own price.
Email me at [email protected] or PM me. I would love to work with you in raising funds for missions. Thank you.
