Maine’s future is being decided right now. And your voice matters.

LD 2094, the Agriculture, Forestry, and Food Producers Bond is more than policy. It’s a lifeline for the people and industries that define Maine. Logging and forest trucking alone support 4,400+ jobs, $283 million in wages, and millions in tax revenue, but the industry is facing rising costs, shrinking markets, and real uncertainty about the future.

Farmers are facing similar pressures, from extreme weather to outdated infrastructure, and many are simply trying to keep their operations viable for the next generation.

This bond would:
• Support the people who produce our food and steward our forests
• Provide access to low-interest loans and grants
• Strengthen Maine’s rural economy and working lands

4.1.26 UPDATE: Owners are working to safely trap Baily. Please pull in any food that you may have put out - they need her to go to the feeding station at the trap. Please do not go searching for her - they need to keep the area quiet. Thank you!

Daisy's sad forlorn look is because we told her that Saturday, September 6th, will be our last daily pick.
