Debbie here, Like others, I too miss Sentelle's Seafood, and when I do, I head to this place. Oyster topped deviled eggs and a delicious oyster Po' Boy - it takes me back to what I miss. Highly recommend Oyster House Brewing Company. Haywood Road, Asheville.

FROM CHRISTMAS PAST…June and I would always work into the wee hours of the morning, packing up your Christmas Eve orders. The holiday music filled the air, and freshly brewed coffee kept us going. Over the years, we’ve packed up thousands of pounds of oysters, shrimp, scallops, salmon, and crab legs. We would always check and recheck each order to make sure that our part of your Christmas was perfect! However, time has a way of changing things, and with each passing year, the work became more challenging, and our smiles began to fade. We were tired, and we knew it was time to step away. We don’t miss the work, but we absolutely miss each and every one of you. You are incredibly special to us, and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas! 🎄

Thursday Throwback…already seems like another lifetime. Miss you all for sure.
Edit: OMG! I have loved sitting here and responding to everyone’s post. When I was working, I didn’t have time to do that and i am so glad i can now. I miss all of you and I still thank you for your support! You are awesome!!!! Each of you have played such an important part of my life. I thank you for that opportunity. You folks are a treasure to me and you will always hold a special place in my life. 🙏

I currently have a single storage unit available, measuring 9.5 x 12.5, with a monthly rental fee of $100.
This unit is spacious enough to accommodate large appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, and stoves, as well as beds, tables, sofas, and numerous boxes and containers.

I highly recommend the Oyster Poboy at the OysterHouse Brewing Companye on Haywood Road in Asheville. The oysters are cooked perfectly…soft on the inside with a crunchy exterior. The place is laid back and easy just as it should be 😊.

I feel compelled to address certain speculation and just give you the facts. We closed Sentelle’s because we SIMPLY WANTED TO RETIRE – no other reason whatsoever! 62 years is a long career, and we believe we have respectfully earned some relaxation. Our retirement decision was initiated over a year ago with necessary planning. We DID NOT attempt to sell the business. And yes, I do have children who were very capable of taking over the business, but they both have very successful careers of their choosing, and as a mother, I am extremely proud of their choices. My mom’s passing had NO bearing on Sentelle’s closing. She was NOT sick!!! Her death was sudden and unexpected, and unfortunately, she didn’t get a chance to enjoy much of her retirement. All the more reason to enjoy life while we can. We miss you all and thank you for all your support and concern.
